East Midlands League
Bedworth Utd have taken over as the new leaders of the Premier Division after Kirsty Farnsworth, Milly Miller and Sophie Wilson gave them a 3-0 victory over Rise Park. In the other game, Robyn Henton and Courtney Walters netted the goals as Notts County Development won 2-0 away to Arnold Town.
In the only match to survive the weather in Division One North, Sleaford Town raced to a 13-2 victory over Alfreton Town for only their second win of the season. Ashleigh Eggington hit a hat-trick and there were doubles from Laura Jones, Amy Honeybun and Amy Kilgannon while Maisie Kirwan, Ashleigh MacKenzie, Jade Welch and Hannah Keal contributed a goal apiece.
Eastern Region League
Colchester Town consolidated themselves in mid-table in the Premier Division with a 1-0 victory against third placed AFC Sudbury.
After having been 100% in their opening six matches, Silver End went down to their second league defeat in a row when they lost by the odd goal in eleven to Ipswich Wanderers, who move up to third place as a result. Jessy Whurr bagged a hat-trick along with Tarnya McKew (2) and Michelle Allum for Ipswich, whilst Rebecca Hollocks scored four times for Silver End but still finished on the losing side.
In Division One West, Sawbridgeworth Town were narrow 3-2 winners over Colney Heath. Jill Bartholomew netted twice and Shannon Hardinges the other for Sawbow, with Colney Heath replying through Holly Sheridan and an own goal.
London & South East League
The top of the table clash went the way of runaway leaders AFC Wimbledon, who won 2-0 against Leyton Orient to go a whopping fourteen points clear. Kelly-Jade Whelan gave the Dons an early lead and Rebecca Sargent went on to wrap up the points on the hour mark with the second goal. Third placed Carshalton Athletic crashed to a 5-1 defeat at the hands of Crawley Wasps for whom Rebecca Carter (2), Faye Rabson, Jade Simmons and Natalie Stephenson scored the goals and London Corinthians defeated Eastbourne Town 6-1. Nicolle Houston and Eleftheria Taladianou were on target as Camden Town won 2-1 away to Fulham FC Foundation, who replied through Helen Ogle, and the game between Bexhill Utd and Aylesford finished level at 1-1 with strikes from Laura Bolton and Abigail Ingram respectively.
North East League
Blyth Town Lions moved themselves level on points with Northern Division leaders Gateshead Rutherford Ravens with a 6-1 victory away to York City Res. Leigh Black and Hannah Smith were on target twice for Blyth along with Sarah Burn and Melissa Scott.
This was the only match in the league to avoid the bad weather over the weekend.
North West League
Crewe Alexandra are in an even stronger position at the top of the Premier Division after they won 2-1 away to third placed Bolton Wanderers, a result which sees them extend their lead to thirteen points.
In Division One South, Woolton Ladies made it five wins out of five when they defeated second placed Merseyrail Bootle, a win which takes them into third, two points behind leaders Ellesmere Port Town.
Penrith AFC eliminated Premier Division opponents in the Argyle Sports Cup when they got the better of an eleven goal thriller, 6-5 against Birkenhead after extra time. There were no such worries for Blackburn Community who also visited lower division opponents but ran out 8-2 winners over Workington Reds.
South West League
Poole Town have taken over as the new leaders of the Eastern Division after they won 3-1 against fellow challengers Keynsham Town Development. Rebecca Miles scored twice and Sarah Sinkins the other for Poole while Keynsham, who had previously won every league match, grabbed a consolation through Taylor Gainey. Ilminster Town meanwhile were 2-1 victors at Ash Rangers. Shannon Crouch and Jade Shoemark netted important goals for Ilminster, with Hannah Forse responding for the home side.
One match was played in the Western Division and it produced plenty of goals, Newquay Celtic narrowly beating Illogan Ladies 4-3. Kirra Spray (2), Lucy Bounsall and Lisa Hegarty were all on target for Newquay.
Southern Region League
Basingstoke Town doubled their Premier Division lead to six points with a 7-0 victory over Woodley Utd. Megan James netted twice and there was one apiece from Josette Pearmine, Katie Randell, Ayala Truelove, Sarah North and Jessica Sotes. Marlow ensured they stayed in touch with the leaders and preserved their unbeaten record by winning 3-1 at Newbury Ladies.
Division One leaders Chesham Utd got back to winning ways and are seven points clear following their 4-3 victory against Team Solent. Laura Barton, Katie Squire, Kate Bowers and Gemma Fraser all scored for the Clarets. Winchester City Flyers netted thirteen times past Ascot Utd, Amelia Cutler bagging herself a six-goal haul along with Kayleigh Moss (2), Lauren Sessions (2), Beth Norman, Molly Elloway and Louisa Castle. Wycombe Wanderers moved away from the bottom two, thanks to a 3-2 win over Fleet Town.
West Midlands League
TNS Ladies closed in on the teams above them and moved into third place in the Premier Division on the back of a 12-0 victory over Wednesfield Town.
The only other action in the league took place in Division One South, where table toppers Worcester Utd stretched their lead to six points with a 4-2 success against Folly Lane.
