Leaders Larkhall Athletic were beaten for the first time in the league this season, going down 1-0 to Chichester City in a well contested clash, The only goal of the game came midway through the second half when, after a goalmouth scramble from a corner, Tammy Waine produced a brilliant piece of opportunism to score with an overhead kick. Chichester defended superbly from that point to clinch a valuable result which takes them into third place in the table.
At the other end of the table, Shanklin climbed off the bottom after beating St Nicholas 2-0. Susan Cullen and Gemma Woodford scored the goals to earn the Isle of Wight side their second league victory of the season.
