Reading get green light for Amber signing
 Women's Football News 23 Dec 2015
Reading FC Women have received international clearance from the FA and US Soccer Federation and have now completed the signing of Amber Stobbs from W-League side Washington Spirit.
Stobbs joins the professional ranks at Reading as they prepare for their first season in the top flight of women's football in 2016.
Amber was a former Chelsea player, before heading to the US to study at Hofstra University. The forward is looking forward to starting her pre-season with the squad in January and a Masters in Sports Science, we are sure she will be up to the physical rigours of full time training.
Kelly Chambers said of Stobbs' signing: "'We have been working hard behind the scenes to strengthen our squad for 2016 as we face our toughest challenge yet in WSL 1. Amber is a player we believe can compete in WSL 1 and score goals."
