Preston storm to top spot
 Women's Football News 4 Jan 2016
Preston North End have taken over as the new leaders of the Northern Division on goal difference following a thirteen goal blast against Nuneaton Town in the only match to beat the weather.
Gemma Watson led the scoring with a five-goal haul and the tally was completed by Charlotte Farrell, Chelsea Flanagan, Hannah Forster, Lagan Makin, Danielle Young, Keeleigh Savage, Kim Turner and an own goal.
One match also managed to go ahead in the Southern Division and it saw Coventry Utd score eleven times without reply past Plymouth Argyle, a result which takes them into third place.
Ashleigh Neville had a great day in front of goal for United as she netted four times whilst Helen Dermody weighed in with a hat-trick. Amber Hughes added a brace while Nikki Miles and Maz Gauntlett were also on the scoresheet.
