Port Talbot Town put a dent in Cardiff City FC's Welsh Premier Women's League title hopes when they came from two goals behind to beat them 3-2.
Cardiff raced into a two-goal lead inside the opening six minutes thanks to Mollie James and Shannon Evans but Jessica Curran ensured that the home side were back in the game before half time. Just before the hour mark, Terri Beddows levelled matters once more before Sian Scannell scored a decisive third for Port Talbot with twenty minutes remaining. The result moves Port Talbot up into third place in the table, one place below their opponents.
Aberystwyth Town meanwhile leapt up into a mid-table position by winning 3-1 away to Rhyl & Prestatyn. Aber inflicted all of the damage in the first half, Gabby Hughes and Niomi Evans putting them two ahead with only eight minutes on the clock, with Hughes netting her second just before half time. Ashleigh Mills pulled a goal back for the home side after the break but Aberystwyth held out to record their third league win of the season.
