In a closely fought contest, Oxford City battled to an 2-1 away win against Basingstoke Town in the Southern Region League Cup quarter finals.
The home side went in ahead at half time thanks to a goal from Katie Randell but midway through the second half, Lindsay Pinker levelled up the score with a strike from the edge of the penalty area. Melissa Farrow then came off the bench to strike the winning goal for City and set up an intense final fifteen minutes in which they held on for victory.
Oxford will now face Milton Keynes City in the semi finals, with the other tie being contested between Marlow and Southampton Women.
