Stoke City went level on points with third placed Cardiff City Ladies in the Midland Division after beating them 3-0 in the only match played. Both teams are just three points off the top of the table.

South Division leaders Brighton & Hove Albion went down to a 2-1 defeat at home to Portsmouth, who are up into third place after goals from Rebecca Bell and Elizabeth O'Callaghan. The Seagulls now head the table by five points from Charlton Athletic, who won 1-0 against Crystal Palace thanks to a late goal from Charlotte Lee. Lewes continue to improve by holding Queen's Park Rangers to a 2-2 draw. The Rookettes had led by two goals from Danielle Perrin and Shinih Tuazon, before Rangers hit back to earn themselves a share of the spoils through Jean Sseninde and Zemeka Clarke. Southampton Saints meanwhile moved off the bottom of the table when Ellen Pearce and Nicola Curtis both scored to give them a 2-1 victory over West Ham Utd.

Sheffield FC became the third team through to the semi finals of the FA WSL Development League Cup after they won 4-2 away to Reading FC Women. Chloe Dixon netted twice for Sheffield along with Katie Anderson and Rhema Lord-Mears, with Zoe Cunningham hitting a double in reply for the home side.

Sunderland have taken over as the new leaders of the Northern Division after Chloe Johnson, Madelaine Hill and Bridget Galloway gave them a 3-2 victory over Liverpool. Doncaster Rovers Belles meanwhile beat Everton by the same scoreline thanks to an Isabelle Whittle brace and Lauren Cartwright.

In the Southern Division, Chelsea were unable to take an opportunity to catch up ground on the top two when they were held to a goalless draw by Watford. Merrick Will, Rinsola Babajide and an own goal gave Millwall Lionesses a 3-2 success away to Bristol Academy and London Bees were 3-1 winners over Oxford Utd.
