Two Arsenal Ladies first team players were in Peterborough on Tuesday 16th February, inspiring 40 young budding female footballers.
Vyan Sampson and Chloe Kelly both came through the Arsenal Ladies Centre of Excellence into the professional game and were in the city as part of a Girls Football Fun Day organised by ICA Sports FC.
Also in town was Arsenal Ladies Development Officer, Ciara Allan, who delivered a coaching session to the girls to give them an insight into how to Play The Arsenal Way. The girls also enjoyed a Refereeing session delivery by Rob Windle from Peterborough Referees Association and a team challenge delivered by ICA coaches Steve Purnell and Scott Duffy.
The Fun Day was one of the activities ICA Sports FC are delivering as part of their work as Peterborough's Arsenal Ladies Club Associate. If you would like to learn more about the work ICA Sports FC are doing in Peterborough, you can visit their website at www.icasports.com.
