Leaders Met held by City
 Women's Football News 29 Feb 2016
Welsh Premier League leaders Cardiff Met Ladies were held to a 1-1 draw by Cardiff City FC in their local derby match.
Met went into a first half lead through Erin Murray but City hit back with a goal just after the hour from Shannon Evans, to become only the second team to take points off the reigning Champions this season.
Swansea City now trail Cardiff Met by nine points, with three games in hand, after they defeated MBi Llandudno 2-1 with goals from Katie Davies and Emma Beynon.
PILCS meanwhile scored ten times without reply against Port Talbot Town, a result which sees them replace their opponents in fourth place. Lyndsey Davies led the scoring with a five-goal haul, Jassie Vasconcelos weighed in with a double and there was one apiece from Louise Pugh, Alana Murphy and Ceri Hudson.
Rhyl & Prestatyn enjoyed a successful trip to Cyncoed Ladies, returning with a 4-0 victory under their belts. Pheobe Davies gave them a third minute lead with Rachel Lloyd and Laura Williams adding further goals ahead of half time, before Ashleigh Mills rounded off the scoring midway through the second half.
Cwmbran Celtic notched up their second league win of the season, recording a 2-0 success away to Aberystwyth Town. Chloe Chivers opened the scoring for Cwmbran and Lois Regan wrapped up the points with the second goal.
