 Women's Football News 4 Mar 2016

England's Under-23s picked up an impressive result on Wednesday afternoon with a 1-0 win over Germany in the first game of the La Manga Tournament in Spain.

A strike from Nikita Parris in the 71st minute proved to be the difference for Marieanne Spacey's squad, who will play three games during their time at the annual tournament.

Next up for the Lionesses is the USA, who they play on Friday before they take on Sweden in their third and final game on Sunday.

England Under-23s: Mary Earps, Hannah Blundell, Paige Williams, Sherry McCue, Aoife Mannion, Millie Bright, Kasia Lipka, Danielle Carter (sub Kirsty Linnett), Nikita Parris, Leah Galton (sub Ashley Hodson), Abbie McManus.
