Portsmouth keep hopes alive
 Women's Football News 7 Mar 2016
Portsmouth made sure of keeping themselves in the Southern Division title race with a 5-1 victory away to West Ham Utd.
Sarah Kempson kept up her excellent recent form in front of goal by scoring twice and there was one apiece from Molly Clark, Leeta Rutherford and Ellie Bloomfield.
Queen's Park Rangers are all but safe following their 2-1 win at Forest Green Rovers, who remained entrenched in the bottom two. Forest Green had led at the break through a goal from Annie Martin but in the second half, Rangers turned the match around and took the points with strikes by Emma Whitter and Juliette Denny.
Lewes eased any further fears by winning 3-1 against Plymouth Argyle. Paige Walder gave the Rookettes the lead just before the hour with Kelly Newton adding a second and despite Ezme Wells pulling one back for Argyle, Danielle Lane sewed up the victory for Lewes in injury time.
