Czech Republic 1 Wales 0
A late goal condemned Wales to defeat in their final group match in the Cyprus Women's Cup in Paralimni.
It was a disappointing result for Wales who had played some good football throughout the match and certainly deserved at least a point from the encounter after dominating possession whilst creating numerous chances.
Wales looked hopeful throughout, creating chance after chance. In the first half, Helen Ward took a shot at goal but it went wide of the post and minutes later a Jessica Fishlock effort saw the ball fired over the crossbar.
In the second half, Wales caused more threat with numerous chances as substitute Chloe Chivers and Fishlock hit the bar.
In the end, just a single goal settled the game as Czech Republic scored in the 86th minute.
Wales will learn who they are to face on Finals Day later in the evening once all the group games have been played.
Following the match, Wales captain Sophie Ingle, told www.faw.org.uk: "We are disappointed not to come away with a result today after feeling like we were on top for most of the game.
"We created a lot of positive chances and the girls' work rate was unbelievable.
"We learn from this game and regroup ahead of our last game on Wednesday."
Wales: Laura O'Sullivan, Rachel Rowe, Natasha Harding (sub Chloe Chivers 56mins), Hayley Ladd, Sophie Ingle, Loren Dykes, Angharad James, Kayleigh Green (sub Alys Hinchcliffe 88mins), Jessica Fishlock, Helen Ward (sub Charlie Estcourt 62mins), Nadia Lawrence.
