Hungary 2 Wales 1
Wales ended their Cyprus Women's Cup campaign in sixth place after a 2-1 defeat to Hungary earlier today.
Wales substitute Charlie Estcourt equalised for Wales on the 75th minute after Hungary took the lead in the first half with a goal from Henrietta Csiszar. Hungary led once more after a late goal from Fanny Vago in the second minute of added time.
Wales ended their week of competitive football with a second defeat after having lost to Czech Republic, 1-0 on 7th March after having drawn with both Finland and Poland in the early stages of the campaign.
Chloe O'Connor made her debut for the senior side in the game and there were also first starting appearances for Chloe Chivers and Ellie Curson.
Wales captain Sophie Ingle commented on their performance by saying: "It wasn't the way we wanted to end the tournament. I'm disappointed from today's performance overall but it was a very positive tournament overall.
"We are looking forward to our next fixture against Kazakhstan in the EURO Qualifiers."
