Everton avenge Cup defeat
 Women's Football News 24 Mar 2016
Everton 2 (Magill 43, Brougham 80) Aston Villa 1 (George 29)
Georgia Brougham scored a late winner as Everton came from a goal behind to beat Aston Villa and avenge their SSE Women's FA Cup defeat to the same opponents four days earlier.
Everton began well and led after Bethan Merrick's centre caused panic in the box before Hannah George curled in a fine shot beyond Alex Brooks on the half hour to register her second goal against Everton in a matter of days.
With half time beckoning, the equaliser arrived after Villa goalkeeper Jess Myers parried a Simone Magill cross into the net.
Chances were at a premium in the second half, but when the winner came on 80 minutes it was one of real quality as Brougham picked the ball up in midfield before unleashing an unstoppable shot which beat Myers from all of 30 yards.
