Swansea City kept their Welsh Premier Women's League title hopes alive when a late comeback gave them a 2-1 victory away to Aberystwyth Town.
Aber took the lead on the half hour through Stephanie Land and they remained in front until fourteen minutes from time, when Lauren Cubbon equalised for the Swans. Jodie Passmore then scored a late winner which ensures that Swansea are now twelve points behind leaders Cardiff Met Ladies but with three games in hand.
Cwmbran Celtic meanwhile completed a good few days for themselves, following up a midweek 4-0 win away to Cyncoed Ladies by beating Rhyl & Prestatyn 3-0 and heading up the table into fifth place. Ellie Lake opened the scoring for Cwmbran midway through the first half and after the break, they sealed the win with further goals from Fiona Anthony and Lauren Boyd.
