Preston North End and Nottingham Forest battled out a 2-2 draw in a clash between two of the Northern Division title contenders.
Megan Howard and Natasha Meade were both on target for Forest, equalising strikes on each occasion from Natasha Flint and Charlotte Farrell. Preston now head the table by eight clear points although they are starting to run out of games.
Sporting Club Albion still have ten league matches to play but are keeping themselves well in contention. On Sunday they won 2-0 away to Guiseley AFC Vixens, who remain just outside of the bottom two. Karen Clough and Trina Greaves scored the goals for Albion during the first half.
Bradford City maintained their recent winning run by beating Huddersfield Town 2-0, a result which takes them into fifth place. Bradford needed to wait until the later stages before making their breakthrough, taking the lead with fifteen minutes remaining through Rosie McDonnell and Sarah Danby adding the second in injury time.
