Cardiff City Ladies have reached the Premier League Cup Final for the second time in three years after they defeated Blackburn Rovers 3-0 in their semi final at Ystrad Menach.
Kerry Bartlett opened the scoring for the South Wales side and an own goal put them two ahead at half time. Just before the hour mark, Hope Suominen broke away to score the third and seal a meeting with Tottenham Hotspur in the Final at Kidderminster Harriers FC on Sunday 8th May.
Cardiff have a great record in the competition in recent seasons. Two years ago they were beaten in the Final by Sheffield FC and last season, they made it as far as the semi finals before being knocked out by eventual winners Charlton Athletic.
