Albion on the charge
 Women's Football News 19 Apr 2016
Sporting Club Albion are continuing to win their games and have matters in the Northern Division title race firmly in their hands.
Abi Cottam and an own goal was just enough to give Albion a 2-1 victory over Newcastle Utd, whose reply came from Sophie Williams.
Nottingham Forest suffered another blow to their title hopes when they were beaten 2-0 at home by Bradford City. Rachel Lee gave Bradford a first half lead and Hannah Campbell wrapped up the points in injury time, for a result which takes them above Forest and into fifth place.
Huddersfield Town notched up their third victory in a row, a 3-1 success against Nuneaton Town. However they needed to fight back from behind after Kayleigh-Anne Steele gave Nuneaton a first half lead, Debbie Hastings equalising just after the hour mark and Emily Heckler netting twice in the last ten minutes.
