Cardiff Met on verge of title
 Women's Football News 19 Apr 2016
Cardiff Met Ladies are one point away from retaining the title after winning 5-0 away to Rhyl & Prestatyn on Sunday.
Emily Allen opened the scoring for the students and Anne-Laure Davy added a second ahead of half time. Chloe O'Connor made it three early in the second half and Met went on to crown the victory with further strikes from Allen and Erin Murray.
This leaves Met requiring to avoid defeat in their final league match of the season in order to be crowned as Champions once again, this would put them beyond the reach of second placed Swansea City. Met were due to be playing Cyncoed Ladies in their last game on Thursday night.
Cyncoed will go into that game with a 2-1 success away to Port Talbot Town under their belts, a result which greatly enhances their chances of finishing outside of the bottom two.
