Swansea City assured themselves of the runners-up spot in the Welsh Premier Women's League with a 1-0 victory away to Port Talbot Town on Sunday. Sophie Hancocks scored the only goal of the game to ensure that the Swans will finish in second place for the second year in succession. Cardiff City FC are back in the top three after scoring eleven times without reply past Newcastle Emlyn. Kylie Nolan led the scoring for the FAW Women's Cup winners with a four-goal haul, Alicia Davies and Danielle Green each weighing in with a hat-trick and an own goal completing the tally. Lois Regan had a great day in front of goal as Cwmbran Celtic recorded a bizarre 10-3 win away to MBi Llandudno. The striker netted six times to boost Cwmbran's hopes of a top three finish, Chloe Chivers contributed a hat-trick and Lauren Boyd added the other goal.
