Birmingham City 0 Manchester City 2 (Corboz 35, Ross 88)
Manchester City continue to set the early pace in WSL 1 following a hard earned win away to Birmingham City.
Birmingham battled hard throughout but struggled to break down their opponents, who had the first chance of the game through Nikita Parris. The home side had an effort of their own, with Melissa Lawley's low drive kept out by Karen Bardsley on 15 minutes.
It was Daphne Corboz who opened the scoring just after the half hour for the visitors after a cross from Parris.
That was how it remained until the dying minutes, when Jane Ross but the game out of reach of the home side and ensured that her side still have maximum points following their opening three games.
