Notts County 2 (Clarke 32,64) Reading FC Women 2 (Ward 6, Bassett og 38)
Notts County twice came from behind to share four goals and the points with Reading FC Women at Meadow Lane.
Reading opened the scoring on six minutes, when a poor clearance from County defender Amy Turner fell to Helen Ward, who smashed a shot into the top corner from distance.
Jess Clarke's influence on the game was growing as the home side drew level from the spot just after the half hour when the England winger converted a penalty after a handball in the box. Moments later though, Reading were back in front when Laura Bassett fired the ball into her own net, seeing the Royals going into the break 2-1 ahead.
Notts came out for the second half pushing to level the match and just after the hour, Clarke raced onto a ball over the top, lobbing the onrushing Royals keeper, Grace Moloney for her second of the game.
County were now in the ascendancy but had to rely on Carly Telford to pull off a good save after Emma Follis found space in behind the Notts defence. Both sides went looking for the winning goal, but only half chances came as the game ended in a 2-2 draw.
