Charlton set for second
 Women's Football News 25 Apr 2016
Charlton Athletic look likely to finish in second place in the Southern Division after a crushing 9-1 victory over Forest Green Rovers.
Gemma Shepherd and Charley Clifford both hit hat-tricks for the Addicks and there was one apiece from Kit Graham, Stef Simmons and Charlotte Lee.
Portsmouth gave outgoing manager Perry Northeast a winning send off and put a huge dent in Cardiff City Ladies' hopes of the runners-up spot by beating them 2-1. Second half goals from Emma Sherwood and Shannon Sievwright gave Pompey the win, with Cardiff pulling one back late on through Chloe Lloyd.
Plymouth Argyle ended their campaign by picking up a point from a 2-2 draw against Queen's Park Rangers. Mollie Taylor and Rebecca Atkins netted the goals for Argyle, while on target for Rangers were Cherrelle Albert and Juliette Denny.
