Arsenal back to winning ways
 Women's Football News 27 Apr 2016
Reading FC Women 1 (Follis 78) Arsenal 2 (Nobbs 30, Janssen 59)
Arsenal got back to winning ways when a goal in each half saw them take the points against newly promoted Reading FC Women.
Jordan Nobbs gave Arsenal the lead on the half hour mark when she fired towards the top corner from 22 yards and Grace Moloney could only help it on its way into the net.
Reading were fortunate to go into half time only one behind when Vicky Losada saw her effort saved, before Natalia Pablos Sanchon was adjudged offside when she tucked the ball into the net.
Arsenal picked up the second half where they left off with Moloney forced to stop both Danielle Carter and Dominique Janssen, before the latter doubled the tally as she headed into the bottom corner on the hour.
After Reading's late fightback when Emma Follis reduced the arrears by curling a shot past Sari van Veenendaal, Arsenal's Asisat Oshoala failed to make the scoreline more convincing when she rounded Moloney only to fire over the bar. Reading could have snatched a point late on though as a header from Lauren Bruton was inches off target.
