Leicester complete perfect season
 Women's Football News 4 May 2016
Northern Division One
Chorley require one win from their final two matches to secure a top three finish after they won 5-1 away to Blackpool Wren Rovers. Vicky Coope led the scoring for Chorley with a hat-trick and she was joined on the scoresheet by Rachel Wood and Sam Cadwallader, with Rachel Warren replying for the home side.
Tranmere Rovers have inched a little closer towards safety with a 2-2 draw against Chester-le-Street. Nichole Gound-Harvey and Brogan Prudhoe netted the goals for the Cestrians while Tranmere replied through Denise Campbell and an own goal.
Midlands Division One
Champions Leicester City Women completed a perfect season with a 100% record, thanks to a 2-1 victory away to second placed Wolverhampton Wanderers. In an unforgettable week for their club, Holly Morgan gave Leicester a lead which was cancelled out by Laura McQuilkin, before Helen Busby netted a late winner to ensure City finished with maximum points from their 22 matches. Wolves require one point from their remaining two matches in order to ensure themselves the runners-up spot.
It was not a good day though for local rivals Leicester City Ladies as they crashed to a 10-1 defeat at the hands of Loughborough Students. Eva Rogers led the scoring for Loughborough with a four-goal haul, Amelia Cruwys weighed in with a brace and there was one apiece from Holly Gibson, Nikki Payne, Teighlor Pengelley and Lucy Harris. Kim Walton grabbed a consolation for Leicester.
Sporting Khalsa's late bid to avoid relegation gathered further pace with a 3-2 win away to Peterborough Northern Star. Megan Wilton, Jodie Bragan and Rebecca Knight netted the goals to earn Sporting a fourth straight victory but they still need to win their last match to stand any chance of climbing out of the bottom two.
South East Division One
Crystal Palace are one match away from completing the season with an unbeaten record following their 4-2 success away to Lowestoft Town. Gemma Bryan hit a hat-trick for the title winners and Leanne Bell was also on target.
Milton Keynes Dons hold on to second place after scoring six times without reply against Old Actonians. Leah Cudone and Heather McDonnell each netted twice for the Dons alongside Andie Dickens and Sam Gillings.
Gillingham need two wins from their final three games in order to pip them to the runners-up spot and they kept themselves on course with a 3-0 victory away to Denham Utd. Katie Hardaker gave the Gills a first half lead and they went on to add further goals after the break through Kallie Balfour and Jade Keogh.
Ipswich Town are on course for a top half finish following their 2-0 win away to Luton Town in which Zoe Cossey and Jade Henry were on the scoresheet.
South West Division One
Swindon Town have reached the Southern Division for the first time in their history after picking up the result they needed to clinch the title. A point would have been enough but Swindon ran out 8-0 winners over Shanklin. Abby Picton hit a second half hat-trick, Beth Westlake and Meg Vella each contributed a brace and Sarah Uzzell was also on target (see match report).
The destiny of the runners-up position was also decided when Chichester City defeated Keynsham Town 2-0. Jenna Fowlie and Tammy Waine scored the goals to ensure that Chi will finish in second place, with Keynsham likely to end up in third.
