In the one match to be played in the Northern Division on Sunday, Stockport County climbed out of the bottom two places at the expense of Leeds Ladies after beating them 5-3.
Brighton & Hove Albion picked up the win they needed in order to clinch the South Division title. Annie Rolf was on target twice along with Lisa Fulgence, Natalie Taylor, Bronwen Thomas and Hayley Bridge as the Seagulls defeated Queens Park Rangers for the result which saw them overhaul Tottenham Hotspur, who must settle for second place.
Newly crowned FA WSL Development League Northern Division Champions Sunderland were held to a 1-1 draw by Birmingham City, who scored through Constance Scofield. Second placed Manchester City meanwhile defeated Doncaster Rovers Belles 2-0 to remain just ahead of Sheffield FC, who won 3-1 at Notts County with goals from Katie Anderson, Francesca Sullivan and Nicole Kemp. Lucy Shepherd netted for Aston Villa in their 1-1 draw with Everton whilst Liverpool won 4-2 against Durham Women thanks to Mollie Green, Megan Taylor, Alex Greenwood and an own goal.
Southern Division leaders Arsenal were not in action and require four points from four games to secure the title. Reading FC Women have moved level on points with them after winning 5-0 at Bristol Academy, Shanade Hopcroft netting twice along with Hannah Knapton, Rebekah Haines and Daisy McLachlan. Chelsea were also 5-0 winners over Millwall Lionesses, courtesy of a goal apiece from Zoe Cross, Lauren Pickett, Miriael Taylor, Laura Rafferty and Isabella Sibley. Oxford Utd meanwhile picked up a point from a goalless draw with Watford.
