The destination of the Northern Division title is still to be decided but Bradford City are out of the running after they were beaten 4-2 by Leeds Ladies on Sunday.
The final match of the season was played in the South Division and it saw Queen's Park Rangers run out 7-2 winners over West Ham Utd. Cherrelle Albert and Chelsea Coles each netted twice for fifth placed Rangers along with Dominika Netschova, Vanessa Nicholson and an own goal, with Steph Burder and Amy Gullefer replying.
Sunderland march on in the FA WSL Development League Northern Division and the title winners have a lead of nine points following their 2-0 victory over Manchester City. This result allowed Sheffield FC to nip in and take the runners-up spot after a Chloe Dixon goal gave them a 1-0 win against Doncaster Rovers Belles. Aston Villa meanwhile triumphed 4-1 in their local derby against Birmingham City, thanks to a Lucy Shepherd brace, Leanne Bryant and Lowri Walker. Durham Women also won 4-1 over Everton, Courtney Corrie netting twice along with Megan Elliott and Anna Young.
Arsenal were knocked off the top of the Southern Division but need four points from four games to be confirmed as Champions after their two rivals both completed their fixtures with wins. Reading FC Women are guaranteed at least the runners-up position following their 3-0 victory over Watford in which Hannah MacKenzie, Laura May Walkley and Melissa Fletcher all scored. Chelsea meanwhile defeated Bristol Academy 2-0 with strikes from Keira Heslem and Beth Lumsden.
