Sunderland 0 Liverpool 4 (White 9, Greenwood pen 36, Bannon og 73, Zelem 90)
Liverpool ended a three-match losing streak by firing four past Sunderland and climbing up to third in FA WSL 1.
Scott Rogers' side were in front in the eighth minute when Rosie White fired a breathtaking 20-yard strike beyond Rachael Laws. Sunderland were denied by Chamberlain who saved Lucy Staniforth's free kick while Brooke Chaplen, Rachel Furness and Stephanie Roche all went close for the home side.
However, Liverpool doubled their lead nine minutes from the interval when Steph Bannon tripped Natasha Harding in the area and Alex Greenwood beat Laws from the spot.
The home side went agonisingly close to a goal on 61 minutes when Roche's header was tipped over by Chamberlain. Sunderland were having all the play and it was ironic that Liverpool's third came from a home corner.
Harding's run and cross was put into her own net by the luckless Bannon before, in stoppage time, Katie Zelem put in number four after good work by fellow sub Shanice van de Sanden, a strike which puts the in-form midfielder alongside Fran Kirby at the top of the division's scoring charts.
