![]() Carlton, who was a stand out player when both Millwall Lionesses and Yeovil last met, has made the move from The Den and will be up for selection in this Sunday's FA Women's Super League home match when Watford visit Sherborne. Manager Jamie Sherwood said: "Dan was a player who stood out in both games when we played home and away and in the one all draw at home, she really dominated that midfield area. "She is a good honest professional, she will bring a great attitude to training and games, she's a winner and that's what we want. "We want winners with the club, we want people that will keep pushing us and driving us to where we want to be. "The group of players here are a good bunch, they work extremely hard and they sacrifice a lot of things. Danielle signing has already raised the intensity in one training session and I hope that will continue in to the games." Carlton, who trained with the squad on Thursday, added: "The girls have welcomed me really, really well, which is a positive for me. It's always very nervy coming in to a side that have been together and with where they are in the league. "I'm really looking forward to getting going. I haven't trained with a squad for about five weeks now, so I was looking forward to getting on the ball and showing what I can do and hopefully I've done that. "I wanted a new challenge. Not enjoying football is a massive, massive error for me, because that's all I've done all my life. "Changing to the green and white, I'll have to get used to that, and the accent, but I'm really buzzing." | ||||||||||||||
