Eni maintains Chelsea record
 Women's Football News 11 Jul 2016
Chelsea 1 (Aluko 52) Birmingham City 1 (Ayisi 47)
Substitute Eniola Aluko scored a second half equaliser to preserve Chelsea's unbeaten record against a determined Birmingham City side at Staines.
A win would have taken Chelsea top of the table but instead they are one point behind leaders Manchester City whilst Birmingham stay fourth following their fourth draw in nine matches.
Millie Bright and Gemma Davison both went close for Chelsea in the first half but they were stung as Freda Ayisi put Birmingham ahead two minutes after the interval when the striker directed a low cross just inside the far post.
The lead lasted just five minutes though as Aluko equalised with a powerful run and neat 12-yard finish moments after coming on as a substitute.
Chelsea spent much of final half an hour pressing for a winner but they ended the game with ten players after Katie Chapman received her second booking for a foul on Ayisi.
Chelsea: Hedvig Lindahl, Mille Bright, Gilly Flaherty, Jade Bailey, Ana Marques Borges (sub Hannah Blundell 82mins), Drew Spence (sub Eniola Aluko 49mins), Katie Chapman, Claire Rafferty, Karen Carney, Ji So-Yun, Gemma Davison. Subs not used: Rebecca Spencer, Beth England, Alessia Russo, Ocean Rolandsen.

Birmingham City: Ann-Katrin Berger, Aoife Mannion, Emily Westwood (sub Chloe Peplow 20mins), Jessica Carter, Alex Windell, Abbey Leigh Stringer, Andrine Hegerberg, Kerys Harrop, Melissa Lawley, Charlie Wellings, Freda Ayisi. Subs not used: Sophie Baggaley, Kirsty Linnett, Cheryl Edwards, Ashlee Brown, Sian Johnson.

Attendance: 1,354
