Arsenal 3 (Stoney 8, Smith 82, Williams pen 88) Notts County 2 (F.Whelan 41, Clarke 52)
Holders Arsenal booked their place in the semi finals of the Continental Tyres Cup after a late Fara Williams penalty capped a fightback against Notts County in a repeat of last year's Final.
Arsenal led after eight minutes when Casey Stoney headed Williams' corner over Megan Walsh but four minutes before the break, County levelled when Fern Whelan headed in Jo Potter's free kick.
Half time substitute Jess Clarke took seven minutes to make an impact when she curled into the far corner to put the Lady Pies ahead for the first time.
However with eight minutes remaining, fellow replacement Kelly Smith lashed into the corner from 20 yards to level the scores once again. Then, two minutes from time, the lively Asisat Oshoala was hauled down inside the box and Williams converted the penalty to send Arsenal into the semi finals.
