Sheffield FC 3 (Michalska 2, Dale 27, Cain 46) Watford 0
Sheffield FC moved into sixth place in WSL 2 following a comfortable win against Watford.
Jodie Michalska was played in by the returning Danielle Lea less than two minutes into the match and the striker confidently lifted the ball over Lucy Gillett to give the hosts a perfect start.
The visitors never really got going and while Sheffield struggled to create clear cut chances, the second did come before the half hour mark when Sophie Jones' inch perfect cross allowed Hannah Dale to stretch and slot home for 2-0.
Watford were caught cold at the start of the second half, the third goal coming even quicker than the first. The hosts burst down the wing again, this time left back Ellie Gilliatt guiding in a ball for Hannah Cain to head home.
The game was delayed late on after Watford's Ellie Mason went down after a collision with Michalska on the halfway line but she was later given the all clear.
