New Larks boss relishing challenge
 Women's Football News 21 Aug 2016
New Larkhall Athletic manager Paul Blenkinsopp is aiming to build on last season as they embark on another campaign in the FA Women's Premier League.
The Larks finished in fourth place in South West Division One, their highest position to date, and the former Bristol Ladies Union manager is relishing the challenge of taking over from Jack Edgar. He told Women's Soccer Scene: "Larkhall Ladies have a good squad of players and are well established in the Premier League.
"I am excited to be able to build on the progress they have made over the last 2-3 seasons. It is a great opportunity for me to work with a talented squad of players, some of which I have coached at previous clubs.
"With a few players having left at the end of last season, I have been able to add and increase the size of the squad with five new players joining the club for the start of the new season.
"We have also added Ben Merry, who has taken a more prominent role at the club as assistant manager and goalkeeping coach. He has been a great asset for the coaching and development of the squad during pre-season."
