Chelsea 2 (Chapman 65,78) Notts County 1 (Potter 63)
Two goals from Katie Chapman saw Chelsea come from a goal behind to beat Notts County and close the gap on leaders Manchester City to seven points.
The visitors enjoyed a better opening half and a well worked free kick caught the Chelsea defence off guard but the alert Rebecca Spencer was on hand to deny Jess Clarke.
The hosts were much improved after the break and missed the chance to go ahead on 49 minutes. Gemma Davison was fouled inside the penalty area but could not beat Megan Walsh from the resulting penalty, with the goalkeeper flying away to her right to keep out the spot kick.
Rejuvenated, the Lady Pies took the lead against the run of play with Jo Potter firing past Spencer after being afforded too much time on the edge of the box.
However, Chelsea's response was immediate. Chapman powerfully headed home the equaliser, meeting Karen Carney's corner on 65 minutes. The inspired skipper then completed the turnaround by grabbing her second, nodding in Hannah Blundell's cross from the right with just twelve minutes left.
