Fylde Ladies are the new leaders of the Northern Division following their 3-2 victory over Bradford City.
Natasha Flint scored a late winner for the Coasters to add to earlier strikes from Chloe Adams and Charlotte Farrell, with Bradford replying through Hannah Campbell and Lucy Sowerby.
Derby County are keeping pace with Fylde after keeping up their good start by beating Huddersfield Town 3-1, Lauren Nicholls gave Derby an early lead and after Emily Heckler had equalised around the hour mark, late strikes from Nicole Ledgister and Ellie May sealed the points for County.
Blackburn Rovers moved up into third place with a 5-1 win against West Bromwich Albion. Saffron Jordan and Ella Toone were each on target twice and Faye McCoy added the other, while Albion's consolation came from Trina Greaves.
The two promoted clubs met each other in an early season clash and it was Leicester City Women who inflicted a first defeat of the season on Middlesbrough, beating them 3-0. 'Boro had gone into the game as league leaders but goals from Chan Robinson, Kim Farrow and Sophie Domingo means that Leicester are now level on points with them, both teams in the top five positions.
Stoke City notched up their first league victory of the season when they defeated Newcastle Utd 2-1. Hannah Keryakoplis and Meg Bowyer netted the goals to earn Stoke the points, with Newcastle replying through Sophie Williams.
