City keep up the pace

Glasgow City kept up the pressure at the top of SWPL 1 with a 5-0 victory over third placed Celtic. 
 
Clare Shine gave them an early lead and Hayley Rosen ensured they were two goals ahead at the break. Rosen then went on to add two more in the second half to complete her hat-trick, before Erin Cuthbert rounded off the scoring.
 
City stay five points in front of Hibernian who maintained the chase by winning 2-0 away to Aberdeen. However it wasn't until the last ten minutes that they were able to make the breakthrough, Sarah Ewens giving them the lead before going on to seal the win with her second goal.
 
Spartans consolidated themselves in fourth place, thanks to a 1-0 success away to Forfar Farmington. Louise Mason scored the only goal of the game for the Edinburgh side, shortly before half time.
 
Stirling University leapfrogged Rangers into fifth place after they defeated them 5-0. Nicole Pullar, Rebecca Galbraith and Katy Morris put them three goals ahead at half time and they went on to seal the points after the break, Pullar netting her second and Jade Gallon also getting on the scoresheet.
 
Things remain close at the top of SWPL 2 with Glasgow Girls remaining three points ahead after scoring six times without reply past Queen's Park. Glasgow led at half time through a goal from Lauren Coleman and after the interval, Chloe Docherty and Samantha McManus each bagged braces and Lauren Evans was also on target.
 
Hamiton Academical also won 6-0 against Jeanfield Swifts to keep themselves in second place. Lori Gardner netted twice for the Accies along with Amy Anderson, MT McGuiness, Deborah McLeod and Mhairi Lyle.
 
Third placed Hearts went one better with a 7-0 victory over Inverness City and they are also just three points off the pace. Ashley Carse led the scoring with a hat-trick, Rebecca Smith weighed in with a brace and there was one apiece from Brogan Anderson and Michelle Stewart.
 
Buchan Ladies produced one of their best results of the season in winning 3-0 away to Hutchison Vale. Shelley Sutherland and Leanne Reid ensured that Buchan led by two goals at half time and Lydia Johnston completed the victory after the break.
