Fylde Ladies kept up their goal laden start to the new season in the Northern Division with an 8-3 victory away to Guiseley Vixens. Jess Battle netted four of the goals for the leaders and there was one apiece from Leah Foster, Olivia Hooper, Emily Marsh and Demi Devereaux. Middlesbrough also notched up their second win, 4-0 against Huddersfield Town. Savanna Robson bagged a brace while Lauren Farrow and Sophie Wood also on target. Blackburn Rovers are the third team on six points after an Alex Taylor hat-trick earned them a 3-2 success at Newcastle Utd. Brighouse Town meanwhile won for the first time, 2-0 against Hull City thanks to Chelsea Morton and Jessica Doyle.
 
Leicester City Women lead the fledgling table in the Midland Division, Rebecca-Jane Knight and Gabriella Reid each scoring twice in their 7-0 victory over Coventry Utd. Eva Rogers, Alex Madden and Sade Alaka weighed in with the other goals. Hannah Jones (2), Zoe Gretton (2), Emily Gillott and Harriet Heaney were on the scoresheet as Derby County defeated local rivals Nottingham Forest 6-2 and Sporting Khalsa were 3-0 winners over West Bromwich Albion thanks to a Stephanie Speck brace and Stacey Arrowsmith. TNS Ladies registered their first win, 6-3 against Loughborough Foxes Development with Taylor Davis and Rebecca Pritchard both hitting doubles, Jemma Smith and Samantha Curzon adding the others. Stoke City meanwhile edged out Cardiff City Ladies by the odd goal in seven, Harriett Wellings netting twice along with Courtney Jones and an own goal.
 
Just a single point covers the top six teams in the Southern Division, headed by Lewes following their 6-3 win away to C & K Basildon. Sian Heather led the scoring with a hat-trick and she was joined on the scoresheet by Eleanor Ramsauer, Paige Walder and Hayley Bridge. Tottenham Hotspur are also on four points after they shared a 2-2 draw with Portsmouth, Ronnell Humes and Shakira Waithe netting their goals with Katie James bagging a brace in reply. Crystal Palace meanwhile won 1-0 away to West Ham Utd.
 
The Reserve Section League Cup got underway on Sunday with the Preliminary Round tie between Queen's Park Rangers and Milton Keynes Dons. It was the Dons who ran out 5-1 winners thanks to Tayla Duffy (2), Amy Gooderham (2) and Zoe Lander, the result earning them a trip to C & K Basildon in the next round.
