Fylde Ladies have a lead of three points in the Northern Division following their 7-1 win against Brighouse Town. Jess Battle was on target twice along with Emily Hockenhull, Emily Marsh, Charlotte Newsham, Gemma Yeldrem and Shaunna Jein. Second placed Middlesbrough were beaten 4-1 by Hull City who won for the first time as did Newcastle Utd, 2-0 against Huddersfield Town.
In the Midland Division, Rebecca-Jane Knight hit a hat-trick along with Moriah McIntosh and Annie Taylor for Leicester City Women as they won 5-1 at TNS Ladies to stay top on goal difference from Derby County, who beat Loughborough Foxes 4-0 thanks to a Hannah Jones double, Amber-Leigh Denny and Ellie May. Stoke City replace Sporting Khalsa in third place after defeating them 3-1 with goals from Harriett Wellings, Sophie Taylor and Courtney Jones. Kerry Bartlett (2), Ellie Burrows and Nia Rees were on target as Cardiff City Ladies won for the first time, 4-2 against West Bromwich Albion. Erin Thompson bagged a hat-trick and Georgia Gladwin the other as Nottingham Forest shared a 4-4 draw with Coventry Utd, who replied through Amber Downs (2), Kathryn Pagan and Chloe Bickley.
Lewes continue to lead the way in the Southern Division after Georgia Bowen and an own goal earned them a 2-0 success at West Ham Utd. Second placed Tottenham Hotspur won 3-2 at Charlton Athletic, Ronnell Humes netting twice and Belle Shannon the other. Crystal Palace also won 3-2 against Milton Keynes Dons thanks to Katie Phillips, Ellie Stenning and Sadiye Yilmaz whilst doubles from Rebecca Bell and Natasha Stephens, plus a Kayleigh Tonks goal, gave Portsmouth a 5-0 victory over Queen's Park Rangers. C & K Basildon were 4-2 victors at Denham Utd thanks to Angela Addison (2), Broghan Kelly and Sophie Rhodes.
