Doncaster Rovers Belles 1 (Simpkins 46) Reading FC Women 4 (Follis 9,61, Jones 37, Rowe 84)
Reading FC Women leapt out of the bottom two places and took a huge stride towards survival in WSL 1 after recording their first victory of the season against a Doncaster Rovers Belles side which remains at the bottom.
Emma Follis starred with a double, setting Reading on their way as early as the ninth minute before her superb solo effort in the second half restored a two-goal advantage.
That came after Nia Jones netted following a well worked free-kick, with Emily Simpkins getting the Belles back into the game just after the break with a powerful strike.
After Follis was forced off with injury, her replacement, Rachel Rowe sealed the win with five minutes remaining, a result which took the visitors outside of the relegation zone.
