Bees looking at top half finish
 Women's Football News 26 Sep 2016
Sheffield FC 0 London Bees 1 (Wilson 19)
London Bees are well on course to finish in the top half of the WSL 2 table after a goal from in-form striker Jo Wilson gave them victory at Sheffield.
Wilson raced onto a long ball which split the home defence, confidently slotting the ball beyond Juliana Draycott for the game's only goal after 19 minutes.
It marked a drastic improvement from the side's last league clash with Sheffield when they lost 5-0 at the Hive, although chances were at a premium for the visitors.
Ellie Gilliatt fired wide for Sheffield, while she also had the ball in the back of the net late on, only for the offside flag to halt her celebrations.
Despite their early lead, the Bees held on for a fine win whilst Sheffield suffered defeat in the league for the first time since May.
Sheffield FC: Juliana Draycott, Sherry McCue, Danielle Cox, Ellie Gilliatt, Hannah Dale (sub Billie Murphy 56mins), Jodie Michalska, Carla Ward, Rhema Lord-Mears, Emma Lipman, Chloe Dixon (sub Kirsty Hanson 68mins), Emma Johnson. Subs not used: Claire Wallhead, Sarah Jackson, Katie Anderson, Kenedy Owen.

London Bees: Sophie Harris, Manuela Nparta, Deanna Cooper, Merrick Will, Sophie Fogarty, Emma Beckett, Rebecca Anderson, Paula Howells (sub Danielle Scanlon 90mins), Nikki Watts, Jo Wilson, Evie Clarke. Subs not used: Bethan Davies, Hana Lalani, Ellie Perkins, Antonia Georgiou.
