Fylde assume leadership
 Women's Football News 26 Sep 2016
With Blackburn Rovers on League Cup duty, Fylde Ladies took the chance to beat Newcastle Utd 5-1 and assume the leadership of the Northern Division.
Danielle Young was on target twice along with Natasha Flint, Eve Kennerley and Mollie Green while Jessica Round netted a consolation for the home side.
Bradford City also won 5-1 against Stoke City, a result which takes them above their opponents in the table. Charlotte Stuart and Lucy Sowerby each scored twice with Jessica Graham adding the other.
West Bromwich Albion meanwhile won for the first time, a notable 2-0 success away to previously unbeaten Derby County thanks to goals from Paige Stewart and Hazzana Parnell.
