Coventry Utd have taken over as the new leaders of the Southern Division on goal difference after they defeated Swindon Town 2-1.
First half goals from Jade Brook and Alison Hall earned the points for Coventry, with Sam Hallsworth netting a consolation for the Wiltshire side after the break.
The top three teams are all level on points, with former leaders Tottenham Hotspur in second place after being held to a 1-1 draw by C & K Basildon. Lily Mellors gave C & K the lead during the first half before Spurs battled back in the second and salvaged a point through an equaliser from Riana Soobadoo.
Charlton Athletic complete the trio following their 2-0 success away to West Ham Utd. Kit Graham netted a goal in each half to get the Addicks back to winning ways.
Fourth placed Crystal Palace are just two points off the pace after they won 2-1 against Portsmouth. Gemma Bryan gave Palace the lead with two minutes on the clock and Roschelle Shakes added the second, before Sarah Kempson scored a late consolation for Pompey.
Cardiff City Ladies remain unbeaten and handily placed following their 4-1 victory at Queen's Park Rangers. Kerry Bartlett led the scoring with a hat-trick and Cori Williams was also on target, with Rangers' goal coming from Alexandra Nord.
