Middlesbrough narrowed the gap on Northern Division leaders Blackburn Rovers to three points with a 3-2 victory over Derby County.
Emily Scarr, Jessica Havelock and Rebekah Bass scored the goals for 'Boro while Melissa Johnson grabbed a brace in reply.
Bradford City continue to climb the table and are in fourth place following their 6-0 win against Nottingham Forest. After Charlotte Stuart had given Bradford an early lead, Laura Elford and Hannah Campbell added braces with Shanua Legge also getting on the scoresheet.
Leicester City Women came away from Stoke City with a 2-1 victory under their belts, a result which lifts them into the top half of the table. Helen Busby gave Leicester a first half lead with Kelsey Richardson equalising for the home side, before Lauren Impey settled matters with the winning goal, ten minutes from time.
One match was played in the Southern Division, C & K Basildon winning 2-0 against Swindon Town. Both goals came during the second half, Sara Sinclair and Lily Mellors both finding the net and although C & K remain in sixth place in the table, they are only three points behind league leaders Charlton Athletic.
