Northern Division leaders Fylde Ladies were not in action and this allowed Huddersfield Town to halve the gap to six points when they won 7-2 away to Hull City. Robyn Harris was on target twice along with Raegen Cartledge, Tara Duce, Robyn Hartley, Amy Broomhead and Shauna Messenger. Lauren Robson, Ellen Turnbull and Alisha Smith scored for Newcastle Utd as they replaced Middlesbrough in third by beating them 3-0. Brighouse Town won 4-2 at Leeds Ladies, Rachael White hitting a hat-trick and Melissa Griffiths adding the other, whilst Bradford City claimed their first victory, 2-1 against Guiseley Vixens with goals from Rebecca Sherrard and Keavy Smith.
Midland Division table toppers Stoke City went down to their first defeat of the season, 2-1 at the hands of Leicester City Women who move level on points with them and third placed Derby County. Kim Farrow and EVa Rogers scored the goals for Leicester. Jodie Lewis, Natalie Morris, Katie Nardone and Naomi Hunter all netted twice, with Gemma Colledge, Gurjit Dulay, Stephanie Kydd and an own goal completing a 12-0 win for Sporting Khalsa over TNS Ladies, meanwhile Nottingham Forest defeated Loughborough Foxes Development by the same scoreline. Francesca Wilson bagged a four-goal haul for Forest while Yasmin Harris and Georgia Gladwin contributed hat-tricks, Alana Crawford and Rae Griffiths rounded off the scoring.
Shakira Waithe scored a hat-trick and Leah Rawle a brace, with Emily Masters and Shona Samuriwo also on target for Tottenham Hotspur as they won 7-1 at West Ham Utd to open up a lead of four points in the Southern Division from Charlton Athletic, who beat Lewes 1-0 with a goal from Stef Simmons, and Crystal Palace, also 1-0 winners against Queen's Park Rangers thanks to Leah Sutton. Denham Utd picked up their first point from a goalless draw with C & K Basildon whilst Southampton Saints defeated Milton Keynes Dons 6-0 with strikes from Ellie Russell (2), Lucy Durham, Kate Early, Katie Johns and Mollie Renshaw.
Sunderland have gone three points clear at the top of the FA WSL Development League Northern Division after winning 2-0 away to Durham Women, Bridget Galloway netting twice. Sheffield FC were beaten 4-0 by Liverpool, who are two points behind them in third place. Manchester City were 2-1 winners over Birmingham City and Everton scored six without reply against Doncaster Rovers Belles. Tanisha Smith, Billie Haynes and Zoe Clarke were on the scoresheet as Aston Villa won for the first time, 3-1 over Notts County.
In the Southern Division, Brighton & Hove Albion remain in second place following their 2-2 draw against Reading FC Women. Ellie Dorey netted both goals for Brighton, with Reading replying through Beth Burgess and Lauryn Abbey. Watford meanwhile registered their first victory when beating Oxford Utd 2-1.
