Cardiff City Ladies have leapt to the top of the table on goal difference on the back of a 4-0 success away to West Ham Utd.
Kerry Bartlett kept up her excellent goalscoring form by adding another two on Sunday and she was joined on the scoresheet by Laura Williams and Chloe Lloyd.
Coventry Utd and Tottenham Hotspur started the day as the top two ahead of their meeting and the resulting 1-0 win by Tottenham means they are in second place, with Coventry fourth. Renee Hector scored the only goal of the first half for Spurs to help maintain their unbeaten record.
Charlton Athletic are two points off the pace in third after they defeated Queen's Park Rangers 2-0. The first half ended goalless but Jenny Newman broke the deadlock in favour of the Addicks just after the hour mark, before Kit Graham sealed the points in injury time.
The points were shared at Lewes where the home side battled out a 2-2 draw with Crystal Palace. The Rookettes twice took the lead during the course of the game through Rebecca Carter and Leeta Rutherford, Palace hitting back on each occasion with equalisers from Roschelle Shakes and Lilli Maple.
Portsmouth are in mid-table following their 5-0 victory over Swindon Town. Sarah Kempson led the scoring for Pompey by bagging a hat-trick and Gemma Hillier weighed in with the other two goals.
