Blackburn back on top
 Women's Football News 21 Nov 2016
The top of the table clash in the Northern Division went the way of Blackburn Rovers, who came away from Middlesbrough with a 2-1 victory under their belts.
Natasha Fenton gave Blackburn the lead with eleven minutes on the clock and Saffron Jordan added the second leading up to half time. Bianca Owens pulled a goal back for 'Boro with ten minutes remaining but Blackburn held out for a result which sees them replace the home side at the top and open up a lead of three points.
The only other match to be played in the Premier League on Sunday was in South East Division One, where second placed AFC Wimbledon went down to a 4-2 defeat at home to Luton Town. Jodie Bellinger was on target twice for Luton along with Shanice Jimenez and Jess McKay, while Laura Low and Jess Trimnell replied for the Dons who remain five points behind leaders Cambridge Utd, with Luton staying in fifth.
