Reserve Section Leagues round-up...
 Women's Football News 25 Nov 2016

Reserve Section League Cup holders Blackburn Rovers are through to the semi finals of this year's competition after they won 2-1 away to Cardiff City Ladies, after extra time. Kerry Bartlett was on target for Cardiff and Ria Montgomery replied for Blackburn, taking the game into the extra period, where Alice Adams settled matters with the winning goal, nine minutes from time. Milton Keynes Dons have also progressed to the last four, for the first time, after a Sarah Harrison double and Tayla Duffy earned them a 3-1 victory over Nottingham Forest, whose reply came from Francesca Wilson.

The only action in the Reserve Section of the Premier League took place in the Midland Division, where West Bromwich Albion ran out 7-1 winners away to Loughborough Foxes Development. Megan Ralph led the scoring with a hat-trick and there was one apiece from Louisa Butcher, Leanne Mitchell, Courtney Reynolds and Aimee Taylor whilst Natasha Walker netted a consolation for the home side.

Liverpool are powering on at the top of the Northern Division of the FA WSL Development League, opening up a lead of four points after beating Doncaster Rovers Belles 7-0. Birmingham City joined the pack of chasing teams after they won 2-0 at Durham Women and Everton were 3-0 winners over Aston Villa thanks to Chloe Powell, Sasha Rowe and Lucy Staunton-Turner.

Brighton & Hove Albion head the Southern Division table by five points following their 3-1 victory over Yeovil Town, courtesy of a Sara Tubby hat-trick. Florence Fyfe and Gabriella Bird meanwhile netted the goals as Bristol City shared a 2-2 draw with Oxford Utd, who replied through Riva Casley and Mollie Dyer. Lauryn Abey and Tasmin de Bunsen were on target for Reading FC Women in their 2-1 win against Millwall Lionesses, whose consolation came from Samantha Booker.
