Cardiff Met Ladies shook off the effects of their first defeat of the season to beat Welsh Premier Women's League leaders Abergavenny Women 2-0.
The home side went into the game having won each of their opening six league matches but it was Met who opened the scoring six minutes before half time through Chloe O'Connor and Jassie Vasconcelos completed the win midway through the second half. Met remain in fourth place and trail Abergavenny by five points, with a game in hand.
Cyncoed Ladies were aiming to build on their excellent result the previous week but had to settle for a point as they shared a 2-2 draw with Llandudno Ladies. Rosie Hughes twice gave Llandudno the lead during the course of the match but Cyncoed hit back on each occasion, Alice Griffiths earning them a share of the spoils with a brace of her own.
Aberystwyth Town are up into mid-table after running out 3-0 winners over Rhyl Ladies. All of the goals came in the second half, Kelly Thomas putting them in front within two minutes of the restart, before Amy Jenkins netted twice to seal the points for Aber.
Port Talbot Town also recorded their second victory of the season, 2-0 away to Briton Ferry Llansawel. Terri Beddows broke the deadlock with the opening goal, nine minutes into the second half, and Sam Morgan made the game safe with a quarter of an hour remaining.
