Abergavenny Women maintained their lead of two points at the top of the Orchard Welsh Premier Women's League with a 6-1 victory over Llandudno Ladies.
Lyndsey Davies spearheaded the win with a four-goal haul and Laura Davies weighed in with a brace, whilst Sophie Owen grabbed a first half consolation for Llandudno.
Swansea City kept up the chase in second place by winning 1-0 away to Cyncoed Ladies. Jodie Passmore settled matters with the only goal of the game, eight minutes into the second half.
Cardiff City FC ensured their long trip north to Rhyl Ladies was a successful one, running out 5-1 winners. Danielle Green netted a brace in the opening 24 minutes and although Rachel Lloyd reduced the arrears for the home side, Shannon Evans ensured the two-goal advantage was restored ahead of half time. City went on to seal the points in the last ten minutes, thanks to further strikes from Lauryn Lyons and Lisa Owen.
Cardiff Met Ladies completed a good day for the top four teams with a 3-0 victory away to Port Talbot Town. Jassie Vasconcelos netted either side of half time and Georgia John went on to add the third goal just after the hour.
