Tottenham Hotspur moved another step closer towards retaining the Premier League Cup when they defeated Crystal Palace 4-1 to reach the semi finals.
Nikita Whinnett netted two of the goals for Spurs and she was joined on the scoresheet by Bianca Baptiste and Wendy Martin.
Cardiff City Ladies have booked another semi final place again with a 2-0 win away to Liverpool Marshalls Feds. Both of the goals came during the second half, Michelle Green and Cori Williams finding the net to break the resistance of the Northern Division One side.
Charlton Athletic emerged as winners against West Bromwich Albion but only after a tightly contested tie had to be settled on a penalty shootout. Both goals in the 1-1 draw came in the first half, Kit Graham giving the Addicks the lead with Amy Dicken equalising, and extra time could not provide a winner. In the end, Charlton triumphed 4-2 on spot kicks, Grace Coombs slotting home the winning penalty.
Blackburn Rovers came through a tricky test away to Chester-le-Street Town to reach the last four for the second season in a row. Lynda Shepherd, Jess Holbrook and Saffron Jordan scored the goals to earn Blackburn a 3-1 victory.
